"This is a wonderful piece of software. At Marshgate Primary School I have been using Miracle Type for over a year. This has been introduced into our weekly timetable to pupils aged 8-12 and I have had the most amazing results. Most of the children can type over 25 WPM and some of them are typing over 80 WPM. AMAZING!!!

Currently I am trying to raise the profile of touch-typing and feel that this should be taught in primary schools throughout the country. This software has given me the ability to do this.

The children are very keen to use Miracle Type and most of them say that this is their favourite lesson of the week. I really like using Miracle Type because not only can you learn how to type all the letters and punctuation, you can also learn how to use the number keys and the number keypad. The software also provides each individual pupil with very clear and organised lessons so that when they log in they can resume the next lesson easily.

There is also a Section Map which the pupils can enter and see their progress. They can also directly link to the lessons or exercises that they need to progress to next. As a teacher they I can keep a close eye on all their progress through a management database supplied with a site license. I use this to print out a weekly progress report.

"Miracle Type does what it says on the tin, all it takes is a bit of effort and the skill of touch typing can be yours within the hour, absolutely great. I would recommend it without hesitation as it makes my earlier excursions into touch typing seem quite primitive.

The training is easy to follow, fits any schedule and is flexible so that any weakness can be exercised as desired – its assignment of words to each finger is an excellent memory aid. As you develop the skill it’s quite magical as your fingers seem to take over and the text appears.

"I think that the programme is great. I have tried on many occasions to try and learn to type properly using all fingers (not just my index fingers :-( ) and not looking at the keyboard but could not get on with the ''asdf'' type methods. I gave up from boredom and frustration because I could not seem to remember where the keys were in relation to my fingers and found it easier to go back to typing with two fingers. However your 10 key word method is a ''miracle''.

I was typing with all fingers within the hour (albeit slowly) with confidence and unbelievably without being tempted to look at the keyboard. I think it is a great method of teaching and can't wait to improve my speed. Would recommend the product to anyone who wanted to learn to type because you can learn the keyboard SO quickly.
